8:30 – 9:00 AM Welcome from the 2017 Women in Coaching Clinic Planning Committee
9:00 – 9:30 AM Dana Kirk: Welcome and Clinic Vision, Goals, and process. Encouraging group discussion, building bridges and creating connections to move forward.
9:30 – 11:00 AM Samantha Arsenault Livingstone: The Three Pillars of High Performance: Courage, Resilience, and Perspective
Using her own story of reaching the pinnacle of success only to allow internal struggles to destroy everything she had built and the steps that were required to rise up and come back. Livingstone candidly address her fall, while giving coaches insight on what to look for in their athletes to help guide the next generation into letting go of perfection and embracing true high performance.

Growing a program from scratch, engaging families and increasing retention in the “busiest” time of human history (all while trying to live your OWN best life!)
2:30 – 3:30 PM Coaches Breakout Session #1: Perfectionism: strategies and hacks to quiet that inner voice, while helping your athletes address similar topics.
3:45 – 4:30 PM Carlene Takaki: One of the WICC organizers, Carlene has been a trailblazer in the use of technology in our sport. From her use of appropriate social media, to entries, swimconnection, and using technology in race and practice analysis. She will share her secrets to making technology work for you.
4:30 – 6 PM Panel Discussion: Best Practice/Meet/Coaching Hacks

Sunday
8:30 – 9:30 AM Check-In, Welcome, Light Breakfast
9:30 – 11:00 AM Aedra Ho: The benefits of yoga and how to integrate it into your age group programs. Many teams reserve Yoga and specialized Dryland for their older swimmers, but Aedra will talk about how to engage younger athletes as well as lead our coaches through a typical practice aimed at addressing and improving those areas that typically affect our swimmers.
11:15 AM – 12:15 PM Lisa White: Brain Hacks of Group Dynamics
12:15 – 1:15 PM Lunch (provided)
1:15 – 2:30 PM Laura MitchellGroup led discussion and crafting of a Document to be presented to ASCA and USA Swimming regarding the State of Women In Coaching in 2017.
